Happy New Year!!

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone! I'm wishing you all a happy and healthy 2013. Today was my holiday at work and it was quite busy. The flu has truly arrived in my area! Our emergency room was busy all day. Hope you all got your flu shots. It seems quite nasty this year.

I haven't had time to do much quilting or knitting due to the holidays. I'm hoping to get back into my old routine now that the holidays are winding down. I look forward to completing some of my works in  progress. I think I say that every year!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday! Be safe!

    2. Yes, we've enjoyed the vacation, we got back 2 days ago and I'm still trying to adjust to our time zone!! I've missed you too and like you, I'm hoping to finish my half done projects - hand quilting my daughter's hexagon quilt and the modern medallion! My goal for this year is to learn FMQ - you've inspired me! =)

    3. I have 2 quilt tops ready to quilt and I hope to have 2 more soon, the dresden plate and blogger's BOM. I'm so glad you're trying FMQ! It's so nice to finish quilts in a more timely fashion. Let me know how it goes or if I can help in any way. I'm nowhere near an expert but have encountered problems and had to adjust things. SewCal Gal is leaving up her tutorials if you ever feel like looking them over.
