Step Down Quilt

No automatic alt text available.

Here are my blocks for the Step Down Quilt Along going on at sewyouquilt2. My blocks are all ready for my darker strips. I may have found a fabric in my stash but I just washed it and want to make sure I have enough. These blocks are in no specific order. I still have to decide that. I feel this quilt will be a great way to practice some of the free motion patterns I learned in Margaret Solomon Gunn's class, Dense and Dainty Fillers. These 10 inch squares are the perfect size for a little experimentation!

I'm enjoying this gorgeous weather by sitting on my deck. Lily wanted to come out and get some fresh air also. I had her outside for awhile but she's back indoors. I think that fresh air made her sleepy! Looks like she's going to nap soon! Not a bad idea..........

    1. Thanks, Julierose! Hope it comes out okay. There are some issues with the measurements.

  2. I think the gal that did the pattern was measurement challenged. Sorry...I didnt know as I am making it with you guys. It is such a pretty quilt and could have been done so much easier.... we will get thru it....I think rows 5,6 are the only major issue
