Happy 4th of July!

Image may contain: indoor

Happy 4th of July! This is just a little wall hanging I made many years ago. It's faded from being displayed but I still put it up every year. It's one of the first quilts that I machine quilted.

We're getting our food ready for the grill. We won't eat until later this afternoon but there's lots to be done! My mom has been cooking too so we'll have plenty of food. Hope I don't gain too much weight!

Have a wonderful holiday! Happy Independence Day!!

    1. Thanks so much, Julierose! I made it from a book about little quilts close to 20 years ago! I made my mother-in-law one also. So cute to use during the holiday. I can find the directions if you like. Let me know!

  3. Celebrating with a (somewhat) heavy heart at the atmosphere in our dear country.............But celebrate we MUST or lose sight of all that is good in our past (the future is up to us!). Luv your quilty piece. I made a similar one many moons ago and still love the glory it represents!!
Enjoy your day with family....hmmm...I thought that grilling/eating too(?) much was a 'must' on summer days! Hugs...

    1. Doreen, I agree with the change in our country. I can only hope things will improve. We had a great dinner. The cleaning up is done too! We ended up eating indoors. Too hot on the deck! I hope you had a great holiday!
