Rock Candy Table Topper



I finally finished quilting Rock Candy. I had blogged earlier about quilting the diamonds but wasn't sure about what to do with the background. I had all these ideas but I decided I would just quilt a very small stipple. I used black variegated King Tut by Superior Thread.


Here's a closeup that lets the quilting show up better.


I've already put it on my table. I love it! The colors are so vibrant. It looks great!

      Thank you! It doesn't take long to quilt and bind. So nice to be able to put it on the table.

    I've got behind in my blog reading, so just saw your last three finishes. All three are gorgeous! The quilting on the Downton quilt is so detailed - I can see why it took you so long, but it is really worth it. Arcadia Avenue is stunning - it just makes me think of a fairground with all the rides and sounds and colours. And Rock Candy is so cheerful. Congratulations!
