Can You See It??

Can you see what I did?? In the bottom picture, you can see my loopy design in the black and white chevrons. I ripped it out and just stitched 1/4 inch away from the seam line. I like it so much better!
I like the loops but I don't think that was the right place for that design. I tried to ignore it but my eye just kept going back to it. I decided to just rip it out and do it over. It took over an hour to rip out but about 15 minutes to quilt. Definitely worth it!

I also quilted these radiating lines in the black and gray triangles. I really love the look of straight lines with this quilt. I like have some curved designs but the straight lines seem to reinforce the strong lines of the actual  pieced pattern.

I just sewed the binding on this today. I machine quilted it with a simple big meander. I can't wait to hang this up for Halloween!

Have a nice weekend!!

  3. I think you made a good choice to replace the loopy quilting because you will be happier with it. I like the radiating lines.
