I just finished Troubled Tomb from the Frightful Fun Block of the Month. It's all paper pieced and measures 12 X 18 finished. The hardest part for me was the grass. Those points are very thin and fine. I found them even hard to iron!
And I finished my Easter cross stitch project. I'll probably make it into a little wall hanging. The pattern is from the Spring 2024 issue of Just Cross Stitch. I just received the Spring 2025 issue and there's lots of great patterns in it too. I love the happy and bright Spring patterns. It's what you need during the long cold winter! It's been very snowy here and there are a few more storms on the way. I think I'll stay in and work on my projects!!
Just such cute blocks you've made--and i love the little leaping bunnies on your x-stitchery. Nice work. DH took me food shopping this morning (my hands are still really sore!!) to stock up before the coming storms. And, S I G H , our dishwasher is signaling a "water leak"--so we have a call in to a repair person...always something, isn't it?

Thank you! I hope your hands feel better soon. I'm not sure how big those storms are going to be but they sound like they'll be making driving treacherous. I'll be staying home. I hope your dishwasher gets fixed. Ours was acting up last week but it seems okay now. I'm still keeping my eye on it!! Stay safe!!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jeanna! I've done lots of paper piecing and it finally "clicked" for me. I feel you have to think backwards to get it to work! As soon as I finish my BOMs for this month, I'll get my other projects done. These 2 BOM are keeping me busy!!
