Here are my blocks so far! I really like how they look together! Of course, the setting is still unknown so I have no idea what this top will end up looking like. However, so far, so good!!
I plan on doing some machine quilting today. I've neglected my Summer Sampler and have finally decided how to quilt the next block. Custom quilting takes too long! I like allover patterns much better. I hope to pin the layers for my Christmas Wreath soon. I'm trying to choose the backing from my stash.
I plan on watching Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics tonight! I can't wait! I have a hexagon to finish stitching as well as a pair of socks to knit. I won't feel quite so guilty as I watch the Olympics for the next couple of weeks! Go Team USA!!
Have a lovely weekend!
The block look nice, cann't wait to see the finish product.
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely post pictures but it will be awhile! I'm dying to see the setting!
ReplyDeleteI love this month's block. I could see making a whole quilt with that block and getting and interesting secondary design.
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching the Opening Ceremonies tonight, too!
I was thinking the same thing! I really like that split background! I thought you'd be watching the Opening Ceremonies tonight. I can't wait!!
DeleteYour block(s) look great! I did the July block last night and I'll do a blogpost today. I wanted to watch the opening seremony too, but here it started at midnight... way too late for me! :) Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope you post a picture so I can see your block. I ended up taking the opening ceremony. It got too late for me!
