Welcome to Thursday Likes! Please visit LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color to link up to more blogs posting fun content. Today is a holiday, Juneteenth. I'm so disappointed that we never learned of this day when taking American history. I'm glad that's it's now acknowledged as a holiday to commemorate the end of slavery. It may be a little late but at least it is now acknowledged.
Our flowers are all blooming. Our peonies look great this year and smell wonderful! I brought some to the cemetery for Father's Day. I left some at my dad's grave a well as my grandfather. I'm not sure how long they'll last but they did look nice.
This is a short post but I've had a quiet week. There's not much to report. I'm going to try and sew a little bit. Have a great weekend!!
I'd like to see you lying next to lily, both of you the same position!! Now that would be fun. I saw a video of someone acting like their dog, and the dog was appalled at their human! lol

That would be quite the sight!! I wish I could relax more like cats but I always end up making myself busy.
DeleteThank goodness for AC (for the drying out effect even more than the cool!). Your peonies look great! It's been a good year for the garden so farm.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sally! I guess all this rain is good after all!!
DeleteWe all deserve a lazy day once in a while! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela! The weather is telling me the same thing!!
DeleteHow very touching to take those flowers to the cemetery. I've been meaning to say how pretty you look in your profile photo, Rosemary.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jocelyn! I wanted to leave something from my home to my dad so the peonies seemed to work the best. The photo looks a little strange on my blog but better when you click on it! Thank for the compliment!
