Welcome to I Like Thursday! A bunch of us bloggers post happy and fun content every Thursday. Please visit LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color to link up to more blogs. I bought this Wooden Insect House for my husband who's always outside planting something. It's supposed to attract beneficial insects as well as butterflies. I haven't seen much action yet but it's only been up a few days.
I'm finally retired and feel I can do what I love. I'm so happy to be out of the rat race! I try to quilt, read and knit as much as possible. I love to get comments and will respond to each and every one! I hope you enjoy my little blog as much as I do! Thank you for visiting me!

I Like Thursday #278
It's been so hot all week but I did manage to cook a few light meals. This is my crustless paleo quiche. I also added some turkey bacon.
We went out for sushi last weekend. I always get the cooked one. This one is shrimp and crabmeat. So tasty!
That's it for me. Today is so nice and cool. I'm really enjoying having the windows open. Have a great weekend!!

DeleteYour bug house is kind of pretty. I hope it works. Ooh - pies and sushi all look yummy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sally! I keep watching the bug house but it's pretty quiet so far.
DeleteWell, you had me at Insect House, LOL. I'm going to have to get one too. What a terrific idea. Meanwhile lovely food...crustless quiche I also want to make and having a meal out made by someone else is the best too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jocelyn, although nothing much has happened in the Insect House. I'm hoping a few bugs take residence soon!
