I'm making 2 versions of Not Kitten Around. One version uses the fabric that came in the kit but the other is just similar fabrics I had in my stash. The stash version will be going to my daughter and her boyfriend. It's a little bit of a challenge keeping the fabrics separate but I've caught myself before I made too much progress. Here are the cat heads and bodies.
Here are the two tails.
Here are the two pumpkins the kitty will be sitting next to.
Just adorable blocks for this piece, Rosemary. Nice work!!
ReplyDeleteI am not getting comments on my blog all of a sudden...am trying to fix it...;(((( Hugs, julierose
Thanks, Julierose! I haven't been getting many comments either but I thought it's just quiet on blogger right now.
DeleteThese little quilts are going to be adorable, Rosemary. One will be a nice gift for your daughter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanna! I received approval for the fabrics I chose for her quilt. I've learned over the years!
DeleteAny quilt with one kitty or more is a winner by me! I understand about mixing up fabrics when simultaneously sewing two quilts. Been there, done that! I should be ashamed but now I know I'm in good company!!! Have a great sewing week!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Susie! It's so easy to mix up when the fabrics are so close! I agree about being in good company!
DeleteJust gorgeous blocks, Rosemary. I enjoy seeing these and your steady progress.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jocelyn! These are so cute so I just couldn't resist!
DeleteI also meant to say how I love the pun in your title :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks!!
