It's time once again for our Thursday Likes! Please visit LeeAnna to link up with more participating blogs. Here's the Laurel Ridge middle section that I finally completed this morning. I didn't notice it until later, but I complete reversed one piece. It's too late for me to change it unless I take the whole darn thing apart. I guess this will be my version of Laurel Ridge! I'll keep it this way because I just can't take the whole thing apart without having a breakdown! It measures 30.5" square so there's that! It's the proper dimensions.
I picked up my sewing machine from the shop yesterday. While I was there, I couldn't help but buy this adorable fabric! The sugar cookies on the left is my favorite! I don't have too much Christmas fabric so I didn't feel too bad about buying these.
The question this week asks us what podcasts we listen to. My favorite is Radio Rental. It's a horror/mystery podcast hosted by Rainn Wilson. It's so good! I also listen to The Meidas Touch, Book Lounge by Libby and True Scary Story. There are so many good ones out there. I don't listen to them as often as I should but I do enjoy them.
Have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm!

Don't know what you reversed - it looks great! Yay for the new vet. That wall hanging is a hoot.
ReplyDeleteIf you can't see it, that's good!! Thanks!! That wall hanging is so funny!!
DeleteGosh Rosemary, I can't find anything wrong with the block. I am blown away by how small those baskets are, though! Please tell us what we are missing LOL.Kitty Couture is hilarious! I glad Molly had a good vet visit. It can be so stressful on them.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanna, but if you saw the original block you'd be able to see what I have done. I find taking the cats to the vet to be stressful for me too! They're too fat or too thin, what do they eat, any problems, etc. I'm glad they're done for the year!!
DeleteYour block looks great! I love your design modification and it's very symmetrical. Your basket blocks are so well made too. Thank you for making my pattern. Lynn Wilder from Sew'n Wild Oaks
ReplyDeleteLynn, you're so sweet to actually say my mistake looks good! I almost cried when I saw what I had done but it was too late to fix it. Your pattern is amazing and I have enjoyed working on it all year. Thank you so much!!
DeleteI can't see what is the mistake here at all...it looks beautiful to me. You are an amazing piecer something I struggle with. Meanwhile, how nice kitty was safe and calm with another vet. I too found that poster funny. Thanks for the list of podcasts- I listen to Meidas Touch too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jocelyn. I will post the picture of what the middle is supposed to look like so you can see the difference. I was so happy to get through the vet visit so easily. I had been dreading it!!
