For a few days, I did nothing but cook, clean and eat! I suppose that's a sign of having a good Thanksgiving. We hosted dinner but we only had a total of 8 people so it wasn't so bad. My daughter's boyfriend's mom joined us this year and it was a pleasure to have her! Anyways, I wanted to get back to my projects so I practiced my pantograph and actually started to stitch it yesterday. This is called Acadia Feather by Bethanne Nemesh. A single row is 13.5" wide. I purchased the paper pantograph from Urban Elementz. The pantograph is set up on the back of the longarm machine and I follow the design with a laser light. It's a great feature to have.
I'm finally retired and feel I can do what I love. I'm so happy to be out of the rat race! I try to quilt, read and knit as much as possible. I love to get comments and will respond to each and every one! I hope you enjoy my little blog as much as I do! Thank you for visiting me!

The holidays are so tiring!! I'm so glad you like the quilting. I wasn't sure how it would come out but I do like it!
DeleteBeautiful quilt lines there, Rosemary. Another beauty!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jocelyn! It's such a great feeling to be finishing up this huge quilt.
DeleteLaurel Ridge is looking great, Rosemary. Your quilting is so pretty. That is one skillset I do not possess.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanna! I really enjoy finishing up my own quilts. I used to use my domestic sewing machine but quickly got tired of it. I've had to practice a lot over the years and still need to practice when trying new designs. I really enjoy it!!
