I'm working the next two days and then we're scheduled to have another snow storm! Third weekend in a row! It should be over by Sunday evening. I'm getting really tired of all these storms. It's getting old real fast!
Enjoy your weekend!!
I'm finally retired and feel I can do what I love. I'm so happy to be out of the rat race! I try to quilt, read and knit as much as possible. I love to get comments and will respond to each and every one! I hope you enjoy my little blog as much as I do! Thank you for visiting me!
The Christmas table runners have their binding! I started sewing the binding on the runner on the left. They're not very large so it'...
Something curvy on all those square would look nice, I think, but you are the expert!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide!! Straight? Curvy? Still looking at patterns. May take awhile!
DeleteI really like the Puzzle Block quilt. Very fun colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne! Using solids was a departure from my usual.
DeleteLovely! Stay safe in the storm & I hope it passes soon & Spring follows!

Thanks, Gilly! Hope this storm misses us!
DeleteThis quilt is such a change--love it. I have some modern fabrics, but cannot quite figure out how to use them--everything is either a big widespread design or very full of white....speaking of white stuff--oh, no! not aNOTHER storm--hopefully it'll be rain here on our coast...stay warm..love your quilt Julierose
ReplyDeleteHeard it might not be as bad as first thought. Will have to wait and see. I like some of the modern quilts but I really liked this pattern. Easy to follow!
DeleteFrom FNSI. Love your puzzle block quilt, such a joyful selection of colours, simple yet whimsical, I'd love to see curvy on it. Hope the storm wasn't too bad, we're suffering through heat and humidity a lot the last few weeks with way too many days in the mid to high 30's (that's close to the 100 in the old language) here in South Australia.
ReplyDeleteOur storm was much more tame than predicted so it wasn't too bad. I think I will do something curvy on my puzzle block. I'm practicing a few things! Your temperature sounds lovely to me! Enjoy Australia! So nice to hear from you!!
