I finally started to piece On Ringo Lake! The quilt is made up of 10 rows with the blocks set on point. I'm working on 2 rows at the same time since each half of the quilt is a mirror image of the other. All of the side triangles are over sized and have to be trimmed when the quilt top is complete.

These were the last units I had to finish up before I could piece the quilt together. I finished them up this morning.
So far, piecing is going slowly. There are lots of seams to match up. I'm hoping I get a little faster as I get going. I have the next row all picked out. I also plan on adding a couple of borders when I'm done. I'm hoping it will be a large quilt and I can actually use on my bed.
I just really think your colors are beautiful...coming so well--you must be excited to see it coming together....hugs, Julierose
