Weekend Catch Up

No automatic alt text available.

I've been working on my blocks for On Ringo Lake, the mystery quilt from Bonnie Hunter. I'm just about 2/3 there! My piles of prepared pieces to make the blocks are running very low! Putting the blocks together is Part 8. Part 9 is sewing the sashing, making the set in triangles and actually putting the top together. I'm hoping to start Part 9 soon! (Which sounds it will take forever!)

This is Stellaria, a shawl pattern by Susanna IC. I finally broke down and bought the pattern last month. I've admired it for a long time!

I had a variegated cranberry Madeline Tosh lace yarn in my stash. I thought I'd give it a try. So far, it's not very difficult. That lace looks a little complicated! I'll take it one stitch at a time!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

  2. Hard to believe you still have so much more to do on Ringo Lake. It looks almost done now!
Very, very pretty shawl pattern, I can see why you had to have it. :-)

    1. Thanks, Dawn. I'm trying to get caught up on some older projects before I started Bonnie's mystery quilt. I didn't know how much work was involved. I've got too much going too!

  4. I love the Stellaria pattern! I think I have knit it 3 times :) It really shows off a skein of special yarn so well.

    1. I think Stellaria is so pretty! Hope I can knit it properly. Your letter is on the way! Unfortunately, it was delayed last week due to a snow storm. Had an ice storm today! Can't win with the weather this year.
