I have had a bit of a tooth ache so I had called the dentist yesterday for an appointment today. I guess I've had an infection for the last few weeks. I'm now on antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory for the pain. I must admit I did do a little quilting but not as much as I would have liked. I just feel like laying down. I'm off tomorrow but then have to work the next 3 days. And to top it off, a new winter storm is on the way!
I also have another appointment tomorrow so it won't be a good day to get a lot done. I guess I'll just do what I can. We're supposed to enjoy the process. I just have to keep reminding myself!
UGH! I am just getting over my Crown-ing experience....not fun!! I hope your infection clears up fast...
ReplyDeletewhat do you use to mark your quilts....get better soon...hugs Julierose
I've used many different markers but for this one I used a Chubby crayon which is very similar to tailor's chalk. It was just tough to keep sharpened but so easy to see. I'm loading up on motrin before I go to bed. I don't want to wake up with throbbing while trying to sleep. Watch out for that snow!!
DeleteSo sorry you are dealing with a toothache. Hope you have relief soon! I see you have a friend helping you ! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. It does seem quilters do love their pets and our pets love helping us and love our quilts!
ReplyDeleteI've never had a dog but the cats I've had all seem to love to lay on quilts! It doesn't matter if you're just piecing or almost done, cats just love to be near fabric and quilts! Kind of like me! I'm hoping the throbbing is gone by morning. I hope that antibiotic does the trick!
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about your tooth pain. The quilting is looking good, and Lily looks like she approves.
ReplyDeleteIt's sort of my fault it got this bad. I knew I had something going on but some days it just didn't seem to bother me. I did get a few more blocks quilted today. It just seemed as though everything was against me! I hope that snowstorm somehow misses us!
DeleteLily is looking so cute and sassy. :) An infection of any kind can really make a person feel bad/tired. Hope you start feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteYou're so nice! I think I'll feel better once the antibiotics start working. Lily loves when I sew! She likes to hang around the sewing machine while I'm using it. She loves the fabric too! Too bad cats can't quilt!!
DeleteHope you are feeling better, toothache is never fun. Lily looks happy with the quilt, I think she is just waiting for it to be finished! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish it was finished too!! My tooth does feel better this morning but I didn't sleep too well. May need to take a nap later!
DeleteHope you feel better soon! Not a fun way to spend the week for sure.
ReplyDeleteI hate taking antibiotics! They always make me feel awful. I suppose it's worth it if the infection goes away. Hope they work fast!
DeleteI think Lily likes your quilt. Hope you feel better after a day of rest.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda! Lily seems to like all things quilting! My tooth feels better but I'm tired. Hard to sleep with a throbbing mouth!
DeleteI have made many grand plans of sewing all day only to see them crumble. Hang in there. Hope your tooth gets better. OUCH.
ReplyDeleteToday wasn't much better! Didn't sleep well so I napped in the afternoon! One of these days I'll finally be able to quilt! Tooth is a getting a little better!
DeleteSorry to hear you are not well...also had a fairly slow week due to one of my whopper migraines. Did do some quilting but had to pace myself and just had to let some things go. Hope you feel better soon
ReplyDeleteI like to plan what I'm going to get done and just hate it when I get sick and can't do much. It doesn't happen often so I should be grateful. Hope your migraine is gone. They are so painful. My tooth is must better now.
