Amy's Creative Side is hosting Blogger's Quilt Festival once again. There are many gorgeous quilts to see. You'll have fun just looking through the different entries. There are 11 different categories of quilts. So fun!
I entered Farmgirl Vintage in the scrap category. I tried to use up the fabric in my stash although I never even made a dent!
Here's a closeup of the quilting. It's difficult to see the feathers but you get the idea! The quilting in the lighter areas is easier to see.
Head on over to Amy's Creative Side and enjoy! Voting starts in a few days!
I love this quilt, and your gold fabric borders really highlight all the beautiful work within!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Julierose! I don't really expect to win but it's so fun to enter!

Deletea friend of mine and myself are going to make this quilt. do you know how much white background you needed for it? beautiful quilt will def have my vote
DeleteDirections say 2 1/4 yards for sashing and borders. I just used scraps for the block backgrounds. The blocks are small, 6 inches finished. Thanks for the vote of confidence!!
DeleteThe blocks are such fun and I love the little triangle border you did between the center and the outer border.

Thanks so much, Nancy! That border took such a long time but it was worth it! Thanks for the nice comment and for visiting my blog!
