I made these little baby socks when I found out a friend was expecting a baby. I was so happy to hear this news that I put all my projects aside so I could have these done quickly. I'm about half done with the matching sock.

It's actually a toddler sock. I think it's more versatile than a baby bootie since it can be cuffed when the baby is still an infant. Then it gets larger when uncuffed.

I'm unexpectedly off today. I had signed up for a trip into NYC for the day. We were supposed to go to the garment district and visit quilt shops including Mood! It was cancelled since not enough people signed up. So disappointing! I'm consoling myself by going to a couple of stores having sales. One store is a quilt shop and the other sells yarn. How fun is that!? I'll let you know what I buy!!
