Frightful Minis - 5 Blocks

I tried to keep away from all social media as well as my laptop yesterday. I watched old TV shows and sewed this block. Trump is scary to me and I didn't want to think about him. So, I tried to do things that would make me relax! This block wasn't too hard but I had to made that stem twice. I wasn't placing the background where it belonged. I finally figured it out and it's done!

Here is the progress on my Frightful Minis. They measure 6.5" square. I think I'll use it as a cute little table topper. I'm watching General Hospital! More escapism!

  1. Those blocks look difficult but they are so cute. This is going to be a fun Halloween quilt.

    1. Thanks Jeanna! Some are definitely easier than others. It's such a cute project! I might make another one for my son and his wife. We'll see!

    1. Thank you! I've had to re-sew some pieces. It's easy to get the colors confused when there are lots of pieces in a small area. I'm hoping I'll improve the more I work with paper piecing.
