Not Afraid of Color to hook up with more bloggers posting fun and positive content. I hope everyone had a great Easter. We decided to go out to eat this year but we came back to my house for dessert. I made this white cake and threw on a few Peeps for the holiday! Everyone loved it.
I've used up some of my 1930's reproduction fabrics so I just had to buy a few more! I really love the cheerfulness and whimsy of these adorable prints.
I also spotted these cute little rulers. I use a lot of small pieces and I hate having to use a huge ruler all the time. These are 1.5", 2.5" and 3.5". I think they'll come in handy especially with paper piecing. I usually only need one piece at a time.
Mu daughter got this couch for the cats from her boyfriend's mother. Isn't it the cutest??? They've sat on it but I have yet to see them lie down and sleep on it. Who designs this stuff?? So adorable!!!
We're getting new furniture delivered tomorrow. I can't wait. My couches are old and the kids used to jump all over them. We really need them! Have a great weekend!!!
Great minds think alike! I also used peeps on my Easter cake this year. The 11 year old loved it. Really neat fabric motifs and what a cute cozy spot of kitties!

DeleteI’m not a lover of Peeps , but they sure make a cute Easter decoration. Think I’d use a 3.5 “ ruler a lot. I’ll have to look for those.

DeleteThe cake looks delish and so cute with the peeps on top. The kitty couch is so funny. Every house needs one. How exciting to get new furniture! Guess the kitties can't be the only ones LOL. The smaller rulers must be so useful. I've often wished I had some to make trimming easier.
