I've had a bunch of doctor's appointments in the last few weeks. To reward myself, I went to my local quilt shop and bought Christmas fabric for the mats I plan on making for Christmas gifts. I could use just this fabric or mix and match with some of my older fabrics. I still haven't decided.
We had a birthday party last weekend for my daughter and daughter-in-law. Their birthdays are 2 weeks apart. My daughter has a friend who owns a bakery so we decided to order the cake from her. My daughter-in-law prefers pies so we also got an apple pie! They were both delicious! We plan on ordering from her again. We had a great party!
