I had a long day at work but I'm finally home! I meant to post this last night but never got to it. Today is Thursday so it's time for happy and uplifting posts. Please visit LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color to read more positive posts from other bloggers. As you can see, the second t-shirt quilt is quilted and I've sewn on the binding. I'm sewing the other side by hand. I love to sew down binding. It's relaxing and means the quilt is almost done!
I'm finally retired and feel I can do what I love. I'm so happy to be out of the rat race! I try to quilt, read and knit as much as possible. I love to get comments and will respond to each and every one! I hope you enjoy my little blog as much as I do! Thank you for visiting me!

Cute kitty costumes. And today is National Cat Day! Perfect timing! I like my AQS membership too. Lots of eye candy in their catalogs too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susie! I love the catalog too! Lots of great quilty stuff!
DeleteLove the lobster hats. I have an AQS membership, I was looking at the quilting book yesterday in fact wondering if I extended my membership if I would get one. Yay for binding. Sounds like your day at work was like mine. Long!
ReplyDeleteAQS membership is a no brainer. Too easy! I used to work 6 hour shifts up until a little over a year ago. I miss those days! 8 hours are so long!

ReplyDeleteI miss going to shows. It's so sad that we're all stuck home. Darn virus!
DeleteWho knew cats could sport lobster hats so well! I have bought that magazine a few times. I'll have to see how they handle foreign LOL readers.
ReplyDeleteThe cats are so funny! My favorite magazine used to be Quilter's Newsletter. I really miss that one. There aren't many quilt magazines left but I do enjoy American Quilter. Lots of articles as well as patterns.
DeleteYour cats look so cute in the lobster hat. Dunkin refuses to dress up.lol
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dawn! The cats don't like to dress up but we just wanted to get a nice picture.
